If you notice at the bottom of webjal in the wallpaper section it will have the stats there.  The max colors & size of a wallpaper that your phone will support.

Now the memory issue.  If you loaded a bad wallpaper into the phone guess what?  The phone has the file still in it but because they are not right it won’t show them and because it won't show them you can't delete them. So they are taking up memory.  You may not be able to delete them but you can replace them.  Load another file with the same exact name.  It will replace it.  Your memory will not reflect the replacement until you power off the phone and then power back on the phone.  

Speaking of replacing files

Here are the names of those factory images:

carrier_img.gif = Nextel Logo

Java_img.gif = Java Logo

text_img.gif = T9 Text Logo

pwrdown_img.gif = for power down image

browser_img.gif  =net browser image

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS!  

If you load a bad start up image, your phone may never start up.  So make sure the image is good before loading it with the above names. 

To assign a wallpaper you loaded go to settings, display, then wallpaper.  

A good source for images is www.google.com   www.webcrawler.com  or www.Yahoo.com  click on image at the top.

Try a lot of the Nextel forums they usually have a lot of premade images.

 Another thing.  Any of you that have personal websites or use forums please post a link to my site with what ever search phrase you used to get to me.  If you search free Nextel ringtones the top 10 sites are junk sites that want you to pay and then don't even support Nextel even though they say Nextel.  The more links that google, yahoo, and msn find for my site the higher it is on the list.  Google and the other search engines use a simple scale to output your search.  1st the top 3 are those who pay the most for your click  then those with the most sites referring to them go down in order. So more forums, chartrooms, and websites the higher I am on the list.  The easier people can find a real site and not get suckered by someone trying to steal their money.

Your phone is busy but you don't know what it is doing?  That error means you have a suspended java ap or java game running.  Go to menu java aps then suspended aps and close all aps.
