Yes, you can load ringtones into your Sprint Nextel Powersource phone. There are a few ways to do this. You can do it over the air for FREE! It is not very complex and best of all you can create your own or use pre-made ringtones. You will need a a data/internet plan on your account. I have the instructions here: http://www.harrythompson.com/troubleshooting/ic502.html If you do not have a data/internet plan, there is also a program to do this. It is called mobile phone tools. It is a current program that is made by Motorola so it is available for sale. After the initial purchase (usually found under $40) of the kit (cable and software) you can load free ringtones and wallpapers into the phone. If you have a camera phone like the ic602 or ic902 or v950 you can also transfer your pictures to your computer. I also have used it to sync contacts and datebook with outlook. I have it here (currently on sale and under $20) and also have an instant download if you already have the mini usb cable (same as most cameras): http://www.bricabracshack.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5 There is more on both of these options here: http://www.harrythompson.com/troubleshooting/ic502.html

| Is It
possible to load ringtones into your Sprint Nextel Powersource ic402, ic502,
ic602, or ic902 or v950 phones?
Is it really free?
Please Note:
You will not be able to use an
Iden Jal (Java Applet loader) like Webjal or Myjal. It will not
work with the PowerSource phones. |

| TIP: Never trust any thing that promises free ringtones over the air unless you read all the fine print. They usually will require some form of subscription. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
